Rian & Alyssa Heim
Rian is the Director of the Soccer Shots program in Los Angeles. He began playing soccer when he was five years old and is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association. His passion for soccer and working with youth was his motivation for bringing Soccer Shots to Los Angeles in 2007.
Previously Rian established a design and branding firm. In doing so, he has refined his customer service skills, listening skills and attention to detail. You can expect the same professional work ethic with Soccer Shots!
Rian also enjoys spending time with his family, reading and playing poker.
Alyssa is the Assistant Director of the Soccer Shots program in Los Angeles. She is a native of Southern California and a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association. As a teacher in the local school district Alyssa holds her California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
Alyssa loves spending time with her family, reading and shopping!

Instructors
Soccer Shots’ outstanding crew of instructors consists of local college soccer players, and other highly qualified and motivated soccer coaches. Their #1 goal is to ensure your child is having a good and safe time all the while learning basic soccer skills, coordination, agility, teamwork, fair play, and respect. Soccer Shots is fully licensed and insured. All of our instructors have completed full background checks with the state of California.

Paul Parzik
Paul brings twenty five years’ of experience working with children in sports and recreation for organizations including non-profit organizations, public schools and with the Disney Company. Additionally, he also operates a robust children’s party entertainment company with his wife. During Paul’s career his certifications have included youth sports coach and personal trainer and his lifetime of experience coaching youth soccer for preschoolers and older children began in 1986!
After the birth of his second son five years ago and following the acquisition of two additional party companies, Paul resigned from his role as an Executive Director with the YMCA to spend more time with family and with the family businesses. With his youngest son beginning kindergarten he took on a part time management role as Coordinator of the Topanga youth sports program in 2009 involving 200 children ages 3 to 13 in various sports including a rapidly growing soccer program in which he continues to coach several teams each season.
With a diverse and enriching body of experience well suited to coaching and working with young children, Paul began coaching for Soccer Shots at the beginning of 2010. His experience with sports and working with children has been a great match!
Danny Garite
In Danny’s kindergarten picture he can be seen wearing a shirt with a soccer ball on the front, his love for the sport began at age 5. Growing up in a large family he was able to scrimmage with his brothers well into his teens.
After high school he began a successful run in broadcasting, but still found a way to include soccer- whether it was interviewing Kobi Jones & giving away L.A. Galaxy tickets on-air or donating time as a coach for the local youth Police Activities League. Danny also put together charity games and silent auctions in order to raise money for the new Oxnard Boys & Girls Club.
He now has 6 nieces & nephews that he is teaching soccer.
Leanna Najar
Leanna started playing recreational soccer when she was 12 years old for AYSO. She fell in love with the sport because it must be played as a team and can be very competitive. She did one year of assistant coaching for a Santa Clarita AYSO team for a girls 11/12 yr old team before she started attending school.
Currently, Leanna is attending community college in Santa Clarita and is a swim instructor at Porter Valley Country Club.
Sean Field
Sean fell in love with soccer from the age of 8 and has been playing ever since. He was fortunate enough to play for Southern Connecticut State University and continued his career playing for the Barbados National Team in 2000.
He has played indoor as well as outdoor in the United States and the Caribbean. During his time at University he coached local youths aged 10-13 and in Barbados he was the assistant coach for the University of the West Indies Women’s soccer team.
He is the father of two sons and has been coaching his youngest to follow in his footsteps.
Ally Steele
Ally played soccer from kindergarten through her senior year in high school. During that time she played on recreation, classic, and indoor teams. She was blessed with many inspiring coaches who taught her how to play the game with passion. In high school she was voted second team all league as a forward.
She has worked with for the past three summers at a children’s camp. Ally is currently a business major at The Master’s College and happily married to her high school sweetheart.
